The entire project management tracker exists on a single tab, so it is easy to expand if you want multiple schedules to show at once by duplicating the tab as many times as you need.

It is perfect if you have a single job that involves multiple things to be completed by different individuals/crews or if you are tracking bigger picture items where each row represents a longer project and you need to see when the start/end dates are of those projects across various viewing timeframes.

A simple example is a CPA firm that needs to file various documents for a single client. You could use each individual tab as a different client, and on each tab, enter the start date / deadline of when each document needs to be completed and filed.

Once an item is completed, mark it as done, and the row will change colors for easy management. Each new year you can reset the start date, and the data resets or you can just start a second document or a new tab if you need records of what was done and when. Since there are 100 tasks, you may be able to use the same sheet for multiple years if you want it all in one space. Simply start new rows for new data.

The primary users of this tool would be:
– Construction Industry (multiple projects)
– CPA / Law firms with multiple clients that need to manage multiple timelines / deadlines in a single view
– Manage up to 100 tasks at once (easily expandable)
– Mark if an item is complete or not, and the entire ‘active’ work time frame will change colors (orange for incomplete and green for complete)
– Adjust time frames to view (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly) with a separate input section for hourly start/end times
– The relevant input areas will highlight depending on if you are viewing on an hourly basis or a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

If you need to expand passed 100 items, just highlight the last row and drag down those formulas as far as you want. There is a summary view at the top that will show the total completed and incomplete tasks as well as the percentages therein. This defaults to 250 rows down, and you can just make the number in the formula bigger than 250 if you are tracking more than that.

Note: This is built in Microsoft Excel, and within that file, there is a link to the Google Sheets version. To use the Google Sheets version, you need a free Gmail account.
