This is a simple but practical model to help you create your business plan for your online store / E-commerce business.

As an entrepreneur, you probably do not have too much time to go through complex financial modeling. The basics are sufficient. You should focus on building your business, not spending too much time in excel.

I created this model for this very practical reason. My wife was starting her online business, and I could not find a model that covers key critical elements but is not too complex.

Highlights:
1) Cost of Goods Sold (purchase from manufacturer + shipping to the fulfillment center)
2) Cost of Traffic (how much money do I have to spend to generate my sales?)
3) Cost of operations (what other costs have to be considered to keep my lights on)

The focus of this model is to keep you afloat from the cash flow perspective and forecast when you will be profitable. Balance Sheet and Cash Flow in a simplified form are included as well.
