A successful ERP migration requires more than a general-ledger comparison. The closing QuickBooks balances and opening NetSuite balances may agree in aggregate while open bills, invoices, deposits, purchase commitments and received-not-invoiced activity still require a documented business decision. The QuickBooks to NetSuite Migration Reconciliation Suite is built to give finance teams one practical operating model for that review.

The workbook begins with governed raw-system data ingestion and follows the migration through a chart-of-accounts mapping bridge, trial-balance cutover, open AP validator, open AR validator and purchase-order and RNI accrual reconciler. Each area is designed to make the relevant population, target position and resulting variance visible. This allows a controller or project lead to move from an executive outcome to supporting detail without relying on a disconnected checklist.

The Executive Summary presents the current cutover control position and a visual variance breakdown. Supporting sheets retain the business detail required to investigate an exception: historical balance mappings, subledger records and document-level reconciliation outputs. Fifteen formula-driven integrity controls feed the Master Lock, allowing the latest workbook state to determine whether the required reconciliation gates are passing.

The suite supports a disciplined operating sequence. Load the approved source extracts, review the trial-balance tie-out, investigate open AP and AR differences, clear or document purchase-order and RNI items, and retain the cutover sign-off evidence. The approach is designed for finance transformation teams, accounting leaders, implementation partners and internal control owners who need an organized way to coordinate the accounting work around a system migration.

The accompanying SOP, quick-start guide and sign-off template explain the workflow and roles around the model. The sample dataset provides a safe starting point for familiarization. Together, the package is intended to reduce ambiguity in migration readiness discussions, improve exception visibility and support a repeatable finance-control process across future cutover waves.

It is a working control tool rather than a substitute for accounting policy decisions, migration project governance or source-system evidence. Teams retain ownership of approvals, exception resolution and the completeness of the records loaded into the model.
