The SaaS Metrics & Dashboard tool is designed to facilitate monitoring important data points for a Software as a Service (SaaS) business. It allows for tracking subscriptions, revenue, and churn rates, among other key metrics. The template automatically generates visual representations of the metrics by entering relevant data for easy interpretation and analysis.

Customization:

Adjust your business model name and monthly subscription fees as needed. You can also customize the timeline duration to be displayed, as the default template covers 24 months.

Metrics Updates:

This section is for updating all relevant information related to your business, such as email newsletter sign-ups, churn rates, and number of customers subscribed. The ratios and revenue figures will update automatically based on your input in the white cells of the designated spreadsheet.

Dashboard:

Select the desired time period and see data automatically updated based on the input from the “Metrics” sheet.

Charts:

Visual representations of your business data are generated on this sheet using the input from the “Metrics” sheet, calculating associated metrics automatically.

Please ensure the timeline on the “Customization” sheet aligns with your intended display period and update your business offerings’ names and monthly subscription fees accordingly. All necessary information should be entered into the “Metrics” sheet.

Only update the designated white cells, as the grey cells are computed automatically. Once all data is entered, refer to the “Dashboard” and “Charts” sheets to see the metrics generated by your input. In the “Dashboard” sheet, simply select the relevant period in cell S3.
