Model Background
The solar energy project finance model template is easy to update, flexible model and interactive. The model has a dedicated quarterly cash flow waterfall and financial statement tab showing the financial performance of the project over the lifetime of the model. In addition to this, the model also summarizes output the cash flow waterfall and financial statement outputs in a yearly format.

We have incorporated a scenario analysis in the model showing a 3-case scenarios.

In addition, the model runs with a macro aimed at sculpting and optimizating Cashflow Available for Debt Service (CFADS) to meet debt repayment

Projection

Input Sheet – Contains all necessary inputs and assumptions driving the model. Inputs around Dates, Capacity, Revenue, Cost , OPEX, Tax, Financing Assumption are all set from this sheet. Users simply need to update this to meet their business reality

Flags – This contains all flags and timings for the model

Debt & Equity – Contains debt schedule showing debt injection, principal and interest repayment flows. This also shows Debt sculpting and optimization. The Equity Sheet also contains Equity and retained earnings schedule

Quarterly Statement – Shows the income Statement, Cashflow waterfall and Balance Sheet on a monthly basis

Yrly Fin Stat – Shows the income Statement, Cashflow waterfall and Balance Sheet on a yearly basis
