What the model does: it builds a three-year profit and loss, with Year 1 modelled month by month so seasonality and ramp-up are visible, then rolls into annual Years 2 and 3. Fuel gross profit is driven by litres × cents-per-litre, kept deliberately separate from shop gross profit (sales × GP%), because the two behave differently and blending them hides the story. Below the gross line sit staff, rent, utilities and the other running costs. The model then capitalises free cash flow to equity into an indicative business valuation, and surfaces the KPIs a forecourt is judged on.
