A port is a facility in which vessels can dock to load and unload cargos and passengers. Ports are also a gateway not just for boats and ships but for social and economic growth by serving as a hub for social and economic activities. Today, most of the ports are already equipped with specialized fixtures e.g., forklifts and gantry cranes, to facilitate the cargoes. Ports also provide a large number of employments that are deployed in the port’s operation.
